We planted roots in the Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia in 2022 after many years traveling and exploring inspired culinary traditions. Our approach is enthusiastically bread and vegetable forward, combining the love and appreciation we have for the uniqueness of this special region of Appalachia.

Our mission is to share the beauty of what simple ingredients and techniques can bring to humble breads and vegetables. We aim to serve the community with honesty, sincerity, and transparency at the highest level.

Chad serves as your executive chef and baker, ensuring the finest quality ingredients and flavor combinations infuse into every bread and dish served. He has honed his craft over the last decade in bakeries and kitchens across Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee, and now West Virginia.

Jen delivers those offerings with stellar customer service, along with a bright smile and a warm hug with each interaction. As a native southern West Virginian, she has a deep connection and passion for the people and land of this wild and wonderful state.

At the end of it all, we don’t feel we are in the bakery and food business. Rather, our calling is in the the business of crafting moments that matter. By connecting with the history and food traditions that honor our collective heritage, together, let’s all make bread and vegetables cool again.
